Coronation Street viewers have aired their worry about a budding friendship between two characters. During the recent trips to the famous cobbles, viewers of the ITV soap have seen Summer Spellman and boyfriend Aaron Sandford move in with Amy Barlow and Jacob Hay.
The young quartet have flown the nest to move in together at Toyah and the late Imran Habeeb's flat, while hiding Summer's pregnancy from her guardian Billy Mayhew who thinks she had an abortion. Early this year former drug dealer Jacob Hay was revealed as being Amy's secret boyfriend, and his cheeky personality has won the hearts of viewers.
However some soap watchers think they've spotted chemistry between Jacob, played by Jack James Ryan, and Summer, played by Harriet Bibby. Fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Jack addressed talk of a possible love triangle as he took to Twitter to share a picture of himself with co-star Harriet. "It’s been so refreshing to develop Jacob & Summer’s friendship on the show," he said.
And he reassured that Jacob and Summer's relationship is purely platonic. "We really don’t get to see enough platonic relationships of the opposite sex played out on telly!" he said.
Jack added: "I know what you lot have you been thinking but don’t worry Jacob is still infatuated with Amy." @bjpapworth replied: "Love it. Also love the way Jacobs character is developing. You’re brilliant Jack xxx."
@geoff_jazzy also praised: "Although these two fairly newbies to Corrie I love them both and love the relationship." And @janiom pleaded: "I love Jacob and Amy's romance, but yes, his friendship with Summer is lovely - mates are everything. Please don't let the scriptwriters screw up with your character! Let Jacob and Amy be a success story."
@barbaravizard told him: "I did see a look between them, and thought 'oh no, please don't.' Glad to hear they will just remain friends!" And @Caz_Hill_ exclaimed: "Love it! don't let 'them upstairs' turn it weird!!"
