She's been involved in some of the soap's most harrowing storylines as Coronation Street's Faye Windass. But soap star Ellie Leach was sunshine personified as she stepped out in a zesty orange dress on her hols.
Ellie, 21, from Bury, looked a world away from Faye's woes on the famous cobbles as she posed in her tangerine dream of a holiday outfit. She showed off her golden glow in her ruched ruffle-detail mini dress as she headed out for the night.
"First night on our hols," she wrote with a matching orange love-heart emoji on her Instagram. Ellie, who has played Faye for 11 years, accessorised her summer dress with gold sandals and a matching quilted clutch.

She wore her brunette tresses in beachy curls and looked happy and relaxed as she struck a series of poses for the camera. And the compliments came flooding in.
Her Coronation Street co-star cousin Brooke Vincent, who plays Sophie Webster, commented: "Prinny x" Paddy Bever, who plays Max Turner in the soap, shared a love heart and flame emoji. And Millie Gibson who plays Kelly Neelan gasped: "Okay beauty."
Her followers agreed that she had found her perfect outfit colour. kazzycoops commented: "LOVE that colour on you El you look beautiful." keneggerton said: "Gorgeous the colour suits you xx" And xo_paige_rose_xo messaged: "Oooo love the colour! It certainly makes you pop! Orange suits you!"
Back in May Ellie enjoyed a sunshine break with her boyfriend Reagan Pettman. The pair holidayed in Lindos on the Greek island of Rhodes and she shared a selection of snaps from her idyllic holiday with entrepreneur Reagan.
During her 11 years in the nation's longest-running soap Ellie has tackled hard-hitting storylines including her character falling pregnant when she was 12. In 2020 she was sexually assaulted by evil Ray Crosby and last year she went to prison for attacking Adam Barlow in a case of mistaken identity thinking that he was her sleazy boss.
After being released on bail she lurched straight into another drama when, during a driving lesson on New Year's Day with Emma Brooker, she accidentally ran down a pensioner called Ted. The girls took him home after he reassured he was okay but they were horrified to find him dead in his chair after going back later to check on him.
Terrified of going back to prison, Faye and Emma decided to cover up his death and leave him for his grandson Jon to find. But things became more complicated when a guilt-ridden Emma met Jon at Ted's funeral and they fell for each other.
Faye eventually blurted out the truth to Jon. But there was a happy ending for Emma when he decided to forgive his soulmate and the pair moved away together to Australia start a new life.
Faye thought she had suffered a miscarriage through stress. But she was left with the devastating news that she was unable to have children of her own after going into early menopause.
