ITV Corrie's Samia Longchambon told to 'stop it' as she stuns in little black dress and sips pint of Guinness

Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has been told to 'stop it' as she dazzled her followers in a little black dress and sipped on a pint of Guinness. The actress, who is known for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap, ditched Weatherfield and headed off to Ireland.

Samia was in Dublin over the weekend where she attended the Hair, Beauty, and Style Awards as a special guest. Taking to Instagram on Monday as she made her way back to drizzly Manchester, the soap star showed off her look for the event - and she looked fabulous.

The 40-year-old could be seen posing in a mirror as she sported a midi-length, classic black dress that boasted a plunging neckline and belted waist, showing off Samia's gorgeous figure. She added a pair of pointed black heels and had her blonde locks styled into soft waves.

"Not new [dress emoji] but still a fave for when I have to get a bit fancy," Samia captioned the post as she confirmed she got the stunning number from Karen Millen. Former Emmerdale star Natalie Anderson was among the first to comment on the post, writing: "Yes to this beauty!!" While Corrie co-star Sair Khan simply posted a love heart eye emoji.

And Samia's fans and followers also wasted no time in flooding the mum-of-two with compliments. @karenlouise1306 wrote: "You beauty." @mis_understood.888 commented: "Stunning like always Samia." @patrickmartin2812 replied: "Looking as beautiful as ever Samia."

@carldimambro posted: "Simply stunning." @zarabirchmodel_agency shared: "Beautiful." @nick.k000 echoed: "Beautiful as ever." @travisangellmorrissey typed: "Incredibly beautiful." @lynda.angus added: "Absolutely stunning."

Samia also took to her Instagram Story where she posted a snap of herself at the event sipping on a glass of Guinness. "Thanks fro the great craic... 'Til next time," she typed alongside the image adding a plane emoji, the Irish flag and a red heart. She then added: "No visit to Irleand is complete without a #Guinness.

Samia's quick trip to the Emerald isle comes after she was left 'gutted' last week. She was one of the thousands attempting to bag tickets to the Eurovision Song Contest as the tickets went on sale. Tickets for the competition's return to the UK went on sale on Tuesday (March 7) and tickets to the grand final sold out in just over half an hour.

It is thought this is the first time tickets to all nine live Eurovision shows have sold out on the first day. The final of the international singing competition will take place at the 11,000-capacity Liverpool Arena on May 15 while the semi-final shows will begin on May 9. The event is being held in the city after the UK was chosen to host the competition on behalf of war-torn 2022 winner Ukraine.

Taking to Instagram, Samia spoke to the camera as she sat on her sofa and said: "So, I've just put my little one to bed and I've been busy all day so I've not really had time to process that the Eurovision Song Contest tickets went on sale today and they literally sold out in seconds and I didn't even get a look in."

The soap star added: "I'm so gutted. I'm the biggest Eurovision fan and I can't believe that the one year it comes to the UK, literally dwon the road in Liverpool, and I have no tickets. I'm going to have to watch it on the telly and have a party at home like I always do. Which will be fine, because it will. But still... bummer."

She then captioned the clip posted to her Instagram Story: "First world probs but if you [heart] the Eurovision you will understand," before adding the hashtag: "Nil Points".
