ITV Corrie's Lucy Fallon gives 'gorgeous overload' in string of stunning images from races

Former Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has been flooded with compliments as she gave a glimpse into her glamorous day out at the races over the weekend. The actress spent the day on Saturday (August 6) at Haydock Park Races in Merseyside for the Betfred Rose Of Lancaster Stakes Ladies Day.

Lucy, who played Bethany Platt in the ITV soap from 2015 to 2020, didn't go unnoticed as she donned a green corset dress with a thigh-high split by Forever Unique for the occasion. She paired the bright look with a pair of pale pink heels and opted for minimal silver and gold accessories.

In one of the snaps she posted to Instagram, the 26-year-old posed for the camera above the race track as the sun shone down in the background. She grinned for the photo which showed off her new shorter blonde locks before showing a selfie she took at home before making the trip to the track.

It showed her posing in the mirror of her room in the mirror, showing off her flawless make-up and a close-up of her eye-catching outfit. "Gorgeous day gorgeous girls, just gorgeous," she captioned the selection of images before picking out green and yellow emojis.

The touch of yellow was for her former Corrie co-star Ellie Leach who also attended the event over the weekend. 21-year-old Ellie, who is best known for playing Faye Windass in the Salford-based soap, looked super-chic in a sunshine yellow suit with hot pink accessories.

The girls could be seen grinning together for a photo at the entrance of Haydock Park Racecourse with a statue seen in the background. Lucy added: "Thank you @seemaforeverunique and @foreveruniqueofficial for having me," referring to Real Housewives of Cheshire star Seema Malhotra.

And she was soon being inundated with comments. Ellie was among the first to respond, writing: "Shes a beauty queen oh yeahhhhhhh." Seema also left a comment, saying: "Gorgeous," which was echoed by Lucy's former co-star Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, who told the blonde beauty: "Gorgeousness overload."

Fans were also as complementary. @justinraff2021 wrote: "You looks beautiful Lucy." @amyvanderwal said: "A green queen." @potterphilip82 commented: "Looking absolutely stunning." @stevenharkins16 added: "Absolutely beautiful @lucyfallonx hope you had the most amazing time."

And Lucy and Ellie weren't the only Weatherfield residents past and present attending the races. They were joined by Faye Brookes and Charlotte Jordan. Faye, who played Kate Connor, the daughter of Johnny Connor in the soap from 2015 to 2019, was pretty in pink in a bow-detail dress.

Meanwhile Charlotte, 27, who joined the soap as feisty Daisy Midgeley the stepdaughter of Rovers Return landlady Jenny Connor in November 2020, wowed in a black blazer dress with bold buttons and eye-catching towering heels. The girls documented their day on social media and fans were pleased to see Faye on top form after sadly a nnouncing last month that she had split from her partner Joe Davies.

Faye, from Flixton, went public with her romance with Joe at the end of 2019 after previously being engaged to Pop Idol finalist Gareth Gates. But earlier last month, she shared her sadness at the pair's split but told her followers that their friendship remains 'stonger than ever'.
