Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank was flooded with comments as he took to social media with a glowing shirtless snap. The actor is, of course, best known for playing Billy Mayhew on the ITV soap.
After less time on-screen the soap star and co-star Gareth Pierce, who plays Todd, returned to filming on the soap and the pair were back on-screen together and suddenly appeared friends again in the interests of Summer who is working herself to the bone ahead of her exams that will determine her place at university.
Then earlier this month, Daniel was involved in some emotional scenes with co-star Harriet Bibby as he discovered the true extent of Summer's struggles. After being mistakenly taken to the police station for being drink when she was in fact in a diabetic coma, her concerned guardian Billy vowed to help her.

But after leaving hospital and back on the cobbles, Billy bumped into Amy who was worried for her friend and ended up telling him that Summer has been making herself sick. Heading home, Billy spoke to Summer, asking her if anything was troubling her and if there was anything she wanted to talk to him about. Eventually, the teen opened up and told Billy everything she has been feeling. The pair shared a heart-to-heart with the vicar vowing that Summer will get through it and that he'll get her the best possible help.
Harriet and Daniel were both praised by Corrie viewers over the scenes and were also full of admiration for each other. Dan, who has appeared in the soap as Billy for eight years, also took to the social media platform to say: "@Dan_Brocklebank Thank you for all of your lovely comments about tonights’ @itvcorrie I adore working with @HarrietBibby. She’s a cracking actress & a beautiful person. #Blessedd," to which Harriet then replied: "Enjoy working with you so much! Thanks Dan."
Back to his latest social media post and Dan has caught eyes as he posed for a topless snap. "Summer is with out doubt the best time of year!" he captioned the snap to his thousands of followers as he donned his baseball cap backwards and gave a glimpse of a tattoo on his chest.
Former on-screen love interest Gareth was among those commenting on the post, writing: "Be still my beating [heart emoji]," while co-star Lisa George, who plays Beth Sutherland in the ITV soap, wrote: "Fit," with a string of flame emojis.
Fans were also leaving their comments below the snap that had been littered with flame emojis. @juliestone644 wrote: "Flipping gorgeous," as @jtbphoto_s said: "I couldn’t agree more and looking so gorgeous!"
"WOW, just WOW," @lesleywagner shared while @greyflannel52 commented: "Looking great. As always."
Meanwhile others were happy to chat about the weather as @rhodespeter said in response to Dan's photo caption: "Still waiting for it to arrive."
