Their characters have been through the mill recently on Coronation Street. But Corrie favourites Ellie Leach and Millie Gibson looked happy and relaxed as they left a city centre salon after enjoying some pampering.
It's been a turbulent time for both Faye Windass, played by Ellie, and Kelly Neelan, played by Millie, in the soap with both their teen characters at the centre of intense drama. So the young stars were glad to switch off away from the cobbles with a CBD massage treatment at House of Evelyn.
Ellie's character Faye feared she would be heading back to prison after attacking Adam Barlow when she was involved in the cover-up of the death of an elderly man called Ted. She and best friend Emma Brooker accidentally ran him down during a driving lesson on New Year's Day.

She was off the hook after Emma fell for Ted's grandson Jon and he forgave them before the couple left to start a new life in Australia. Faye feared she was suffering a miscarriage after all the stress. But she was left devastated after finding out that she had never been pregnant.
Ellie, who celebrated her 21st birthday last month, looked full of the joys of spring as she beamed in a colourful striped shirt and denim shorts with coordinating pink trainers as she clutched a bag of goodies. The fresh-faced star, from Bury, went makeup free for her pamper session and wore her brunette tresses pulled back.
Earlier this month Ellie took to Instagram to show off her new hairdo. Posing for a selfie she debuted her fresh cut, having had a few inches chopped off the length so it sat around her shoulders. And fans flooded her with compliments.
"Love the hair Ell," @babsmc123 said as @stephjones_250195 echoed: "Love the hair." @lifewithmia.xo wrote: "Wow so beautiful," while @miyabamber commented: "Stunning girl!!"
During her decade in the nation's longest-running soap the actress has tackled many harrowing storylines including her character falling pregnant when she was 12. In 2020 she was sexually assaulted by evil Ray Crosby and last year she went to prison for attacking Adam Barlow in a case of mistaken idenity thinking that he was her sleazy boss.
Ellie's character arrived as the adopted daughter of Anna Windass. Speaking to the ITV chat show host Lorraine about her 10 years on the show, she said: "It feels like it's been so long but it also feels like it's flown by.
"I'm so lucky to have the storylines that I've had but also growing up and being so young it has been a challenge because most things that you do, storyline wise, you haven't actually experienced yourself."
Co-star Millie, who arrived in Weatherfield as Kelly in 2019 and has gone on to win high praise for her portrayal of the troubled teenager, looked chic for her trip to the salon in cream wide-legged trousers with a matching jacket. And she donned a pair of dark sunglasses to protect her peepers from the Manchester sunshine.
She teamed her pocket detail trousers with a black vest top. And she accessorised with a large gold 'M' necklace while keeping the look casual with flat open-toe sandals.
Millie was at the centre of one of the long-running soap's most harrowing storylines when her character was sent to prison after being framed for the murder of Seb Franklin and later released before ending up homeless and turning to drugs. Most recently her abusive mum Laura, who neglected Kelly while she was growing up, returned to the cobbles to tell her daughter that she was dying of stomach cancer and only had months left to live.
Kelly, who has been taken in Gary Windass and his wife Maria, went through more trauma when the body of her father Rick, who disappeared in 2019, was discovered in the site of the new Weatherfield County traning ground. Unaware that her guardian Gary is her father's killer, Kelly was distraught when her mum confessed to his murder.
While struggling to forgive her mum Kelly sadly didn't make it to see her in time before Laura died in hospital, taking Gary's dark secret with her to the grave. Mikey North, who plays killer Gary, has tipped Millie for a bright future after realising her potential from her screen test.
The Corrie favourite, who has played Gary since 2004, said: "This girl is incredible. Whatever she chooses to do in her career will be amazing. I rate her better than any young actress that I've ever worked with on any job. She's incredible."
