Coronation Street fans are feeling sorry for Tim Metcalfe after his overbearing mum Elaine Jones moved in with him and his wife Sally Metcalfe.
Tim recently underwent a life-saving triple heart bypass operation and Elaine, played by Paula Wilcox, moved in with the couple to help out when he returned home.
Elaine even gave him a bell to ring whenever he needs something.

But Corrie viewers thought she had gone too far when she stepped in to stop any sexy time between her son and his wife on Valentine's Day.
After Sally handed Tim a gift bag containing a saucy gift, Elaine warned Sally off.
And she said his life depended on it.
"I'm looking out for my boy, too much excitement could kill him," she scolded.
And she told Sally: "I know you have needs and urges but you might just have to suppress them for a while.
"Tim's life could depend upon it."
But Sally, played by Sally Dynevor, retorted that she knows best.
"I know we can't have rumpy pumpy for weeks but I don't see any harm in whetting his appetite with a trailer before the main attraction," she huffed.
Fans said they were put off their own Valentine's celebrations by the comical exchange.
@Greg_Phillips_ tweeted: "Eeewwww all this smutty talk is enough to put anyone of their valentine’s dinner!"
@TamsinFife said with a vomiting face emoji: "Nice conversation between Sal and the mother in law."
@KingOfSunshine laughed: "Elaine and Sally arguing over 'urges' on Valentine’s Day is hilare."
@EbonyWan commented: "Rumpy Pumpy is such a detestable phrase."
@Charlotte_K13 said with laughing emojis: "Omg 'rumpy pumpy' who says that nowadays?!"
And @ruddofcumbria gasped: "OMG Sally talking about rumpy pumpy."
