Coronation Street fans were asking questions about Eileen Grimshaw's house again after the owner made a joke about her abode. Corrie viewers flocked to Twitter during Monday nights episode after Eileen remarked to lodger Sean Tully about the lack of privacy at number 11.
Built in 1902, its famous past residents include Weatherfield icons Elsie Tanner, Alf and Audrey Roberts and Jim, Liz, Steve and Andy McDonald. Eileen, played by Sue Cleaver, has lived in the property since 2010 with her sons Jason and Todd with various lodgers over the years.
She currently lives in the house with Todd, friends Mary Taylor and Sean Tully. Her partner George Shuttleworth is now living at her place after at first attempting to hide his snoring from her by returning to his own house.

Sean's son Dylan stays whenever he visits from London on the ITV soap and Sean's ex Frank Bardsley also stayed over. Fans also welcomed George's sister Glenda with open arms in Friday's episode and she is already popping round to number 11 to see her brother and her new pals.
The house contains two bedrooms, hall, dining room, kitchen and outside toilet and soap watchers are baffled at how many people it can fit. As Sean complained to Eileen about 'a serious breach of my privacy' when she remarked that she had spotted him trying to trace a handsome dentist he met at a wake online, she quipped: "Sean you can't fart in this house without people knowing." And George agreed: "She's right. I've tried."
@ChrisHydeCoope1 asked on Twitter: "Does Eileen work or is she now a full time landlady of that Tardis?? She would get fined massively for not having a certificate for a House of Multiple Occupancy!"
@penniless_poet said: "You can't fart in Eileen's house with out people knowing cos they're all basically living on top of one another." @MatthewMitt6 wondered: "How many people live in Eileen's house may I ask? And @padja1 said: "How big is Eileen Grimshaws house. For a terraced house it fits a lot of people in it."
Fans have previously described the house as having 'elastic sides.' And in 2020 actor Antony Cotton who plays Sean explained about the arrival of Dylan that there's actually an extra room.
He said: "He's [Sean] worried about the sleeping arrangements as who's going to fit where. Eileen's house is a Tardis." And Antony continued: "Sean lives in the front parlour and up north they used to have a parlour because they never had toilets. The front parlour was an extra room.
"Now, some people would have it as a bedroom as there wasn't a toilet upstairs. They had a two up, two down and one out back. So Sean has always been in the front parlour and we're saying that upstairs there is three bedrooms."
