Coronation Street fans threatened to switch off after Craig Tinker's "unrealistic" change in tonight's episode.
The first part of Monday's double header continued to explore Faye Windass and Emma Brookers's attempts to evade justice.
The two found themselves in hot water when they accidentally hit Ted while driving back from a New Year's Eve celebration.

Ted initially seemed fine after the incident, but Emma and Faye later found the character, played by Dougie Brown, dead when they visited his flat.
The two cleaned the flat so his death couldn't be traced back to them, but Faye can still be implicated after she lost one of her false nails.
PC Craig Tinker is dating Emma Brooker and he got involved in tonight's episode as he offered to break into the crime scene and retrieve the nail.
Craig has previously been a loyal police officer on the show and viewers blasted his shifting allegiances as "unrealistic".
Jon said: "Things you never thought you’d hear ever in soap land Craig Tinker “I am a corrupt officer now”"
Simon added: "Silly Craig! So unrealistic"
Bobby commented: "#Corrie stop been so melodramatic. How on earth is Craig a corrupt officer? Talk about over reaction"
AJ tweeted : "The stuff between Craig with-holding evidence & Faye & Emma mixed up with Ted's death is getting ridiculously stupid now. Over-done & idiotic. Please get it over & done with."
Some fans on Twitter threatened to switch off as Craig broke into Ted's home.
Kathleen said: "Ridiculous story line. Fed up with this program now..... switching off for good"
Pam posted: "Absolutely ridiculous! Time to switch off"
@DawkinsDog commented : "Dear #Corrie, Please, just stop. Stop with the awful, contrived, beyond ridiculous storylines, like this crap with the fingernail. If this is what we'll soon be fed for an hour three nights a week you'll deserve to lose viewers."
