Coronation Street is set to be rocked by a major twist as Max Turner will be arrested.
The character, played by Paddy Bever, has endured a difficult period on the Cobbles. Max was radicalised after he was groomed by far right extremist, Griff Reynolds.
Max was estranged from his family as he was used by Griff to spread racist propaganda from his computer. Griff has now been arrested, but Max's actions are set to quickly come back to haunt him this week.

In tomorrow's episode, a crazed knifeman will target Maria Connor as she holds an event in support of Weatherfield refugees. A teenager named Blake will live stream his intentions to target the Councillor.
Max tunes in for the stream and is horrified to find Blake reveal a knife. He dashes to the Speed Daal in a desperate attempt to save Maria's life, but arrives too late as the attack is already underway.
However, Blake hits the wrong target as Alya Nazir steps in to save Maria. The character, played by Sair Khan, will be rushed to hospital for a life-saving operation at the end of the dramatic episode.
Corrie boss Iain Macleod said the storyline is exploring the "21st Century problem" of "teenagers self-radicalising through watching extreme content online." He added: "In the end, we wanted this to be a story about communication within families - what are the right and wrong ways to talk to younger family members who are gravitating towards extreme views?”
Max has aimed to get his life back on track since Griff was arrested. However, a shocking twist will see him arrested as Blake tells police it was Max's videos that motivated him to carry out the horrifying attack.
Upcoming episodes will see Max try to explain his actions to the police as he tries to avoid a lengthy jail sentence for incitement to commit murder.
