ITV Coronation Street star Tanisha Gorey looks gorgeous as she stuns fans with summer snap

Coronation Street star Tanisha Gorey has been inundated with compliments after posing for a sun-kissed snap. The actress, who viewers best know for playing Asha Alahan in the ITV soap, swapped Manchester for London this week.

She took part in a whistlestop trip to the capital with her Corrie co-star Millie Gibson. Millie, who plays the soap's Kelly Neelan, appeared on ITV's Lorraine to chat to the show's host Lorraine Kelly about her current storyline which has seen the teen kidnapped and rescued by her guardian Gary Windass.

The pair posted a selfie to Instagram on Tuesday evening (July 19) as they set off on their road trip to the capital. "4 hour road trip to London? Don't mind if we do @tanisha.gorey," Millie captioned the snap of the pair looking summery in strappy blue and pink dresses. "Especially when I'm really travel sick," Tanisha then added suggesting it might not be a plain sailing trip.

The co-stars did, however, arrive safely with them sharing a mirror selfie from their hotel room. "We made it," she said before they headed out for dinner. And Tanisha, who plays Asha Alahan in the ITV soap, was right by her friends side as she made her TV appearance, with the camera panning to show her in the wings looking cool in a white mini dress.

When Lorraine mentioned about Corrie being a 'family, she said: "And you've made some very good pals haven't you?" to which Millie replied: "I love everyone there. Most of my scenes are with the adult actors like Mikey North [Gary] and scenes with Georgia Taylor [Toyah Habeeb] and Charlie De Melo [Imran Habeeb]. I've worked with so many people."

"But I'm best friends with Tanisha," she added. "I love my Tanisha," she said as Lorraine commented: "And she's here today!" Before Lorraine asked about their plans for the rest of their day in London before heaving to head back to Manchester for work on the Salford-based soap.

"I think that's brilliant that you're such good pals," Lorraine remarked as Millie replied: "I know, she's great. We love each other to bits." She added: "It's great to meet someone on set that you really get on with. Even though we don't have many scenes together we still see each other all the time."

Tanisha and Millie also got to meet up with another of their co-stars as Mikey was also in London to appear on Loose Women. Following their TV appearances, the group met up for dinner with Millie taking a snap of the pair with fellow actor Brian Fletcher dining in the sun with Mikey seen raising a glass for the camera.

And it appeared to be the perfect picture opportunity for Tanisha as she was snapped waiting for her meal in a fairy-light-lit outdoor space of a restaurant. The 20-year-old kept her make-up to a minimum and scraped her dark locks back away from her face. She donned a plunging white halter-neck dress for her trip as she sipped on fizzy pop.

"That silly little tag," she captioned the photo, pointing out the issues of a coathanger tag sticking out under one of her arms. But it didn't stop her Corrie co-stars flooding her with comments. Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster in the soap, gushed: " Fricken gorgeous you are."

Millie, 18, told her bestie that she was "blessing my eyes," while Daisy Midgeley actress Charlotte Jordan commented: " Glowy glowy goodness." And fans were also sharing their compliments.
