Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver has been flooded with messages after showing off her latest addition to the family to fans. The actress, who is best known for playing Eileen Grimshaw in the ITV soap, took to Instagram just hours before she was seen touching down in Australia for the brand new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
The soap star revealed she has become a grandmother for the fourth time before heading off Down Under for the Ant and Dec-fronted reality show which is reportedly due to return to screens in a matter of days.
Taking to both Twitter and Instagram, Sue shared a picture of her holding onto the tiny, and adorable, new family member. " Grandchild No.4," she simply captioned the post on Instagram before writing on Twitter: "My gorgeous new grandson," showing the little one with a full head of dark hair as he stared up at his grandma.

And fans were soon sharing their congratulatory messages. @irismoroney said: "Congratulations! Beautiful baby. Grandchildren are so precious." @paulahilton91 commented: "Aww gorgeous. Congratulations to you all." @mandy.parker10 wrote: "Congratulations. Absolutely beautiful." @joshuaevans_2303 added: "Congratulations and good luck in the jungle."
Just as the latter message suggests, Sue has had to tear herself away from her family as she is due to take part in I'm A Celeb 2022 as it returns to Australia for the first time in two years. The 59-year-old has become the third star confirmed for the upcoming series, which is expected to return to screens on Sunday, November 6.
The actress was spotted touching down in Australia early on Wednesday morning Australian time ahead of the launch of the new series. She was snapped dressed in a leopard print cap and matching top as she emerged from Brisbane airport just hours after DJ Chris Moyles and former Love Island contestant Olivia Attwood became the first two stars to land in the country.
Fans best know Sue for playing Corrie's Eileen, a role she has held since 2000. The character is known for being (very) unlucky in love and having a constant rivalry with soap matriarch Gail Platt.
Sue made her debut in the role in May 2000, with her first scenes alongside now-Emmerdale star Chris Bisson, who played Vikram Desai. However, it wasn’t her first role in the ITV soap as five years before she had played a hospital nurse who was present when Daniel Osbourne was born.
Mum-of-two and Street Cars switchboard operator Eileen is probably best known for her string of relationships, including Dennis Stringer, Pat Stanaway, Jesse Chadwick, Michael Rodwell, and most notably her marriage to killer Pat Phelan.
Away from the cobbles, Sue, who was born in Watford, moved to Manchester as a teenager and was married to James Quinn from 1993 to 2003. The pair share a son Elliot Quin.
