Coronation Street star Ciarán Griffiths' character Damon Hay is part of one of the biggest storylines in Corrie right now.
Ciarán's alter ego Damon is currently having an affair with married Sarah Barlow, and the bad boy has continued to cause trouble in Weatherfield.
But the actor may not be on the cobbled street for long, as he currently resides in Australia.
And if that's not enough ammo to take the leap, the actor recently starred in the thriller Riptide, which was created by Neighbours' production company (Fremantle Australia), partly filmed in the studio used by the Aussie soap and broadcast on Channel 5.
And could the return of Neighbours on Amazon Freevee tempt the 40-year-old - who is originally from Manchester - to leave behind the cobbled streets of Weatherfield for Ramsay Street?
On the topic, he recently told Inside Soap magazine: "If it meant I could have regular work near my family, then absolutely.
"Melbourne is a great city. I'd want to play something completely different to anything I've done before, so maybe some old washed-up, Meth-head surfer. I'd get to be out in the sun!"
Comparing filming TV out in Australia to filming in the UK, Ciarán said: "They're a lot more laid-back in Australia. The pace is a bit slower — but the weather's better!
"When I'm here freezing on the cobbles and they say they're taking your coat as we're going for a take and you have to act warm, it's hard! I did a job in Melbourne last January [their summer]; it was scorching. I can't handle the cold now."
As reported by TV Tonight, the Neighbours revival began production for its new show in April and has once again secured the location of its Ramsay Street home, Pin Oak Court in Vermont South, Australia.
