Next Monday, Corrie will be screened in a later time slot of 9.15pm, followed by episodes on Tuesday and Wednesday at times yet to be announced. Next week soap villain Harvey offers Nick a lifeline when Leanne tells her partner it’s time to admit to Debbie that they can’t afford to buy the bistro.

As Nick and Leanne accompany Sam to the prison to see Harvey, he gives Nick a piece of paper and tells him he’s got some cash and it’s his to spend on buying the bistro. Later, Debbie approaches Nick and Leanne and tells them that she’s decided to accept their original offer for the bistro after the other buyer pulled out.
As Nick and Leanne celebrate the deal, the builder for previous buyer Lynne reveals that the reason she pulled out is because the place is riddled with dry rot. Leanne confronts Debbie in the Rovers and makes a lunge for her. Meanwhile, Harvey calls Nick from prison and tells him the offer still stands.
Elsewhere Ken is torn between Wendy and Martha, and tragedy strikes for Summer as her lying to keep her pregnancy secret gets out of control. Aaron's dad Eric admits he’s an alcoholic but is determined to stay off the booze.
When he questions how his son and his girlfriend raised the money to pay for his rehab, Aaron and Summer make out they borrowed it from Billy. Summer tells Aaron that Billy mustn’t find out about the baby and the only solution is to move away until after she’s given birth, and her baby buyer Esther invites her to move in with her and Mike.
But then Summer's life is turned upside down when they're told that Aaron’s dad has been drinking. Summer and Aaron hurry out of Mike and Esther’s house and Aaron confronts his dad. Clearly in pain, Summer reveals that she’s bleeding.
Summer’s devastated to discover she’s suffered a misscarriage. Then Summer and Aaron return home to Eric drunk with blood trickling down his face.
Eric becomes aggressive and yells at his son, and Aaron forces his dad into a taxi and asks the driver to take them to A&E. During the devastation, Summer reads a text from Esther telling her how much they’re looking forward to her moving in.
There are more disturbing scenes as killer Stephen targets his mum Audrey as his new job delivering fast food is a tough pill to swallow. After calling the company and telling them to shove their job, Stephen tells Nick that sending Sam on a cruise with Audrey might not be such a good idea as he reckons she’s drinking again.
After Nick insists the holiday must go ahead, leaving Stephen's plan thwarted, Stephen calls in the salon and steals Audrey’s antidepressants from her bag. Stephen then invites Nick to join him and Audrey in the Rovers to talk about the cruise.
Taking out the antidepressants, he crushes them into a powder. While Audrey heads to the loo, Stephen pulls out the crushed tablets, intent on spiking her drink.
Later his boss begrudgingly gives Stephen his job back but he’s accosted by teenagers who steal his delivery box, work phone and demand money. As Stephen spots Elaine approaching he attempts to race away on his moped but in his haste he loses control and goes sprawling across the road.
