Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver got the same response as she shared a throwback snap alongside her two on-screen sons. Sue, who is known for playing Eileen Grimshaw in the ITV soap, posted the snap on Instagram.
It showed Sue, 59, alongside Ryan Thomas, who played Jason Grimshaw in the ITV soap, and Bruno Langley, who has since been replaced by Gareth Pierce as Todd Grimshaw in two different photos, one taken in 2003 and one in 2013.
The side-by-side images showed the trio stood in almost the same post a decade apart. "Love me #throwbackthursday - here's a treat from the #corrie archive. 2000 v 2013... #tbt #grimshaw #cobbles @ryanthomas84 @mrbrunolangley," Sue captioned the post.

Ryan was clearly thrilled to be reminded of his Corrie days, which took place from 2000 until his exit in 2018, as he reshared Sue's post onto his Instagram Story. Alongside it, he typed: "Best years of my life." He then added: "Grateful to have these 2 in my life."
And it appears fans would be keen to see Ryan - or should we say Jason - back in Weatherfield. @beccaatkinson87 said: "About time we had @ryanthomas84 back on the cobbles." @sarah_jane1947 echoed: "Bring back Ryan Adam is back in Waterloo road now Ryan to come back in Corrie 2 handsome men."
@andrewjones10 added: "The best trio. Come back @ryanthomas84." @taniacummins10 posted: "I really like new Todd in it maybe Ryan will make a comeback as he’s been mentioned when you went in the jungle." While @sue.mcdonald.3388630 excitedly added: "Is Jason coming back."
But it's not the first time the pair have got fans hoping for Ryan to return. The I'm A Celebrity.... Get Me Out Of Here star reunited with the Manchester actor back in August. The Corrie actors got together in a restaurant joined by Ryan's children Roman and Lilah Rae, who he shares with fiancé and former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh.
Ryan, 38, who was just 16-years-old when he made his soap debut, has gone on to appear in panto, featured in the Australian soap Neighbours, won Celebrity Big Brother and took part The Games and Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, where he met his fiancé Lucy.
Ryan said it 'brought back so many fond memories' meeting Sue and having his children there with him. At the time, he shared some lovely snaps of Sue with his family with his 1.1 million Instagram followers and wrote; "Today brought back so many fond memories, I was just a kid at 16 yrs old when I met this woman and she played my on screen mum for 16 yrs and here we are 22 yrs later with my own kids."
Ryan also revealed that he was 'still in shock' after discovering his on-screen mum had now joined Instagram. "I love you so much @officialsuecleaver but I’m still in shock you’ve joined Instagram," he added. Sue also shared the photos with Ryan's family, writing: "Such a brilliant day with Ryan and Lucy, truly blessed to have them in my life."
