ITV Coronation Street's Sair Khan declares love for former co-star at special party

Coronation Street's Sair Khan has declared her love for her former co-star.

The 35-year-old is renowned for her role as Alya Nazir in the ITV soap. The character has been through a difficult time in Weatherfield after she was targeted by a crazed knifeman earlier this year.

Alya was attacked after Blake Myers was radicalised by Max Turner's right wing extremist content. Max has since been released from jail and spoilers for next week show that Alya will take revenge by revealing the character's dark past to his new lover.

Away from the Cobbles, Sair's life is fortunately less turbulent and she regularly shares updates with her Instagram followers. She has taken to the social media platform to issue a gushing message to former co-star, Tisha Merry.

The soap star played Steph Britton on the ITV show from 2013 - 2018. It has been a big month for Tisha as she celebrated her 30th birthday.

She held a star-studded party to mark the occasion this weekend and Sair shared a snap from the bash. She captioned the post: "Love you Tisha Merry."

He said: "Happy 30th birthday to this absolute beauty! Have a fantastic day/week/month or however long you manage to drag this birthday on for. Life begins at 30…."
