Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas has undergone quite the transformation in recent months.
The 37-year-old, who is best known for his portrayal of Jason Grimshaw on the cobbles, underwent gruelling training ahead of performing on ITV's The Games. The show saw famous faces trained by some of the UK's top coaches before taking on a host of different challenges.

After 12 weeks of serious training, Ryan shared a photo of the results on Instagram ahead of the programme airing. Many fans were floored by his transformation, and it seems he has no plans to drop his fitness regime now the show has finished.
Ryan, who is engaged to former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, hit the gym on Wednesday morning for a personal training session. He shared a snap of himself on an exercise bike with his many social media followers.
In the photo, a topless Ryan shows off an incredibly ripped physique as he leans over the front of the bike. Captioning the snap, he said: "Be so busy improving yourself that you have no time to criticise others! #stayinyourlane"
Fans rushed to the comments section to praise the actor for his efforts. Zak Eldharat said: "Beast mode!", while Josh Bennett said: "On fire [fire emoji]".
Swalks said: "Smashing it lad". Siobhan said: "You look incredible". Ryan's brother Scott Thomas said: "Razzzzzz moving mad and I love it" [sic]
