Corrie stars look gorgeous as they post on cobbles ahead of becoming love rivals
They're about to become on-screen love rivals but Charlotte Jordan and Kimberly Hart-Simpson couldn't look further than warring women in a behind-the-scenes snap.
Kimberly made her big return to the cobbles during Wednesday night's episode of Coronation Street as Nicky Wheatley after leaving in September 2020.
Nicky is the former sex worker who grew close to grieving Daniel Osbourne following the tragic death of his wife Sinead. But after lading up in hospital after one of her jobs, Nicky decided to leave Weatherfield with the money Daniel stole from Geoff Metcalfe in order for her to sort out her financial issues and start again somewhere new.
But in recent months, Corrie viewers have watched Daniel grow close to Daisy Midgley with their on-off romance currently very much on.
But their relationship looks set to be rocked by Nicky's arrival and fans have already seen Daisy's reaction as they accidentally bumped into each other on the cobbles.
During Wednesday night's episode of the ITV soap, Daisy was planning on cooking a fancy meal for her new man with the pair planning to enjoy a cozy movie night.
As she popped to the shop to get some supplies, her bag split leaving a bottle of wine rolling across the floor only for it end up in the hands of a cheery Nicky.
After asking her if she knew where Daniel was or how she could get hold of him, a stunned Daisy kept her cool and lied to Nicky saying Daniel moved away.
Later, as Daisy and Daniel headed to the Rovers after a mistake with their planned film night, Daisy saw that Nicky had called Daniel's phone and left a voicemail with Nicky heard explaining she found his number and asked him to call her back.
Clearly experiencing a dose of the green-eyed monster, Daisy deleted the message and didn't tell Daniel a thing but later this week, viewers will see that Nicky eventually runs into Daniel at school where she bags a teaching assistant job.
Despite a potential love triangle on the cards, the actresses who play Daisy and Kimberley were all smiles as they posed for a snap on the cobbles.
"Good vibes only between these two on set," Coronation Street shared alongside the image of Charlotte and Kimberly on the soap's official Instagram page.
Co-star Kel Allen, who plays Laura Neelan in the ITV soap, was quick to comment, writing: "She’s back!!! Gorgeous pic girlies."
Kimberly also shared the same picture to her own Instagram page, writing to her thousands of followers: "Alexa play ‘Wannabe’ Spice Girls."
Jack James Ryan, who plays Corrie's Jacob Hay, took to the comments, writing: "The comeback kids."
And fans were also quick to comment.
