ITV Coronation Street's Max star cuts stylish figure as he joins co-stars on night out in Manchester

Viewers are used to seeing him wind up his step-dad David Platt in Coronation Street but the actor behind Max Turner couldn't be more different to his on-screen character.

Actor Paddy Bever took over the role of the troublesome character, who is the son of David's late wife Kylie Platt and the late Callum Logan, back in September.

11-year-old Harry McDermott., from Bury, played Max in the soap from 2010 but left to continue with his acting studies and explore other opportunities leading to Paddy being cast in the role. But his first appearance did cause a bit of confusion for viewers of the ITV soap.

Since his return to screens, and Paddy's arrival in the soap, Corrie fans have seen Max causing problems for people on the famous street. Viewers even complained about the character's 'vile' transformation after he made a film suggesting a conspiracy theory linking Johnny Connor’s and Natasha Blakeman's deaths.

He also threw a swing at David before seeing the error of his ways but things only got worse when Daniel Osbourne was accused of grooming Summer Spellman after a drunken Max confronts his teacher at the school's winter ball. Then, in February, Max suffered a horror fall after Daniel found him trashing his flat.

Luckily for Paddy, there was no drama when he headed out in Manchester on Thursday night (March 31). The soap star joined his soap colleagues at the relaunch of The Alchemist in Spinningfields. The popular cocktail bar had undergone a £550,000 makeover and launched a new cocktail menu which the famous guest got to tuck into at the launch.

Paddy, 19, was snapped heading into the transformed venue, rocking a white shirt and pair of green trousers which he paired with white trainers and a beige jacket draped over his shoulders.

Sticking with the laid-back yet stylish fashion memo was fellow Corrie star Ellie Leach, aka Faye Windass, who donned a pair of straight blue jeans with white vest top and pair of barely-there black heels. She followed Paddy's lead and added a black and white bomber jack which she rocked with one sleeve off the shoulder and added a hot pink bag to her evening's look.

And the barely-there heels were also a theme of the night with Millie Gibson, who plays Kelly Neelan on the famous street, adding a stringy pair of yellow mules to her outfit - a pale yellow blazer and blue denim jeans.

Meanwhile, Tanisha Gorey, who plays the soap's Asha Alahan, ditched the heels and figure-hugging dress she wore for an awards bash earlier this week and opted for a black top and white mini skirt which she paired with a leather jacket and pair of Converse.

Also in attendance was former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn who showed off her enviable figure in a green satin dress as she joined her husband Jonathan Smith at the bar's relaunch. The actress was forced to leave the role of Mandy Richardson after setting up an OnlyFans account.

David Tag and his girlfriend Abi Harrison also hit the town, arriving hand-in-hand at the event. David left Hollyoaks as Sylver McQueen in dramatic fashion earlier this year after he was caught up in an explosion at Marnie Nightingale's patisserie. But in a shock twist he was left to die by stepson Bobby Costello, the son of Mercedes McQueen.

Reality TV star Chanelle McCleary was also in attendance and Love Island's Natalia Zoppa and her boyfriend Hass showed they are still going strong after recent reports they had split as they were snapped holding hands as they arrived at The Alchemist.
