Coronation Street fans may notice Daisy Midgley looking slightly different on the cobbles soon as the actress who plays her underwent a subtle change. Charlotte Jordan, who joined the ITV soap as the Rover Return barmaid towards the end of 2020, took to Instagram over the weekend to share a glimpse at her new locks.
The actress, 26, even said her mind was 'blown' as she finally got the look she was after following previous failed attempts.

Charlotte paid a visit to a salon to sort her "fried" ends and make a change to her usual slightly darker, brunette locks. She shared a before snap of her hair on Instagram Story and said: "A fine example of the red ring of doom poor Amy started with (don't judge my ends they get fried as f**k being an actor lol)."
And luckily the soap star was very pleased with her new blonde balayage style after revealing that when trying to switch to the lighter colour in the past she's ended up with red hair.
"Can we just @amyfinlaysonhair... EVERY time I've tried to go blonde I've ended up ginger so my mind is a wee blown," she said as her slightly waved locks glistened on the camera.
She then shared one more image of her new do, which featured long bangs, adding: "I paid for this btw lol I jst think she's an actual hair wizard and I can't believe she fixed my red ring of doom booooo the red ring of doom."
Being on Corrie is Charlotte's biggest role to date, following on from the role of Gaby Grant in two seasons of Netflix series Free Rein. Lockdown hit six months after filming and it wasn't until the summer of 2020 that Charlotte was invited to audition for the soap.
And when she eventually made it to the Salford-based set she suffered an awkward moment with David Neilson, aka Corrie legend Roy Cropper, who was on Charlotte's 'must meet' list due to her boyfriend Paul’s family being massive fans of the soap.
"I was new and he mistook me for a wardrobe assistant," Charlotte previously told the Mirror. "He asked if I wouldn’t mind getting him some clothing and for some reason instead of just introducing myself I was like, ‘Yes, let me go and find out, what would you like to wear today?' This was David Neilson after all."
Charlotte's manipulative character has settled down of late after bagging her new man, Daniel Osbourne. However, there were signs of the green-eyed monster when his former flame Nicky Wheatley showed up earlier this month.
And Daisy couldn't really hide her joy when she discovered that Nicky, played by Kimberly Hart-Simpson, hadn't got the teaching assistant job and the school where Daniel just so happens to be a teacher.
