They're best friends on-screen and Elle Mulvaney and Harriet Bibby have shown they're just as close off it as they showed their glam transformation together over the weekend. Fans of the ITV soap will best know the pair for playing Amy Barlow and Summer Spellman.
In recent weeks viewers have seen both of the teenagers going through their struggles. While Amy was terrified of being targeted again after her terrifying spiking ordeal earlier in the year, Summer was facing her own problems as she started to make herself sick amid her diabetes diagnosis.
Amy was the one to tell Summer's guardian Billy Mayhew about her fears for Summer, who landed up in the hospital after suffering a diabetic coma in a police cell after being mistaken for being drunk in Victoria Garden.
But on Friday night the pair looked worlds away from their soap personas as Elle and Harriet got ready together for Corrie's Spring party - or delayed Christmas party depending on which cast member you want to follow.
The duo showed off their fun, young side as Elle shared a TikTok video of herself and Harriet going from their casual looks to being ready for their big night out, all set to Lizzo's new track, About Damn Time. "I don’t know how to make tiktoks, neither does harriet. Here we are," Elle shared alongside the video followed by a heart emoji.
Elle, 19, was first seen wearing a pair of green jogging bottoms and a white halter neck top while Harriet, who recently celebrated her 24th birthday, was sipping on her hot drink in a jumper emblazoned with the American flag and a pair of checked trousers.
As the music changed, the pair transformed with Elle donning a stylish, cut-out black dress with neon yellow and green eye shadow and her brunette locks into a curly blow-dried hairdo. Harriet, however, added a pop of colour as she wore a strapless red dress, adding gold sparkly eyeshadow and a bold red lipstick to her look as her blonde locks flowed in Hollywood waves.
Corrie co-star Jack James Ryan was quick to have his say, writing: "Fancy both of u," as fans continued to flood the pair with compliments.
"You both are absolutely stunning," @xshannonturnerx wrote as @bigfancoronationstreet15 replied: "U both look gorgeous."
"Gorgeous girlies and brilliant acting in Corrie," @spiderzo01 said while @friedbeforeguys21 commented: "You both look so grown up turned into beautiful ladies."
Elle had already shared the video and other snaps from the night on Instagram. "Spring party photo dump," she wrote to her thousands of followers alongside the TikTok video and other images including a selfie with Harriet and a printout of photos from the party's photobooth.
