Coronation Street star Alan Halsall was being flooded with comments after he shared a sweet snap with his rarely seen family members. While the actor has pretty much grown up on-screen having played Tyrone Dobbs for the best part of 24 years, he doesn't often show off his loved ones online.
Over the weekend, the ITV soap star, from Walkden, spent some quality time with his mum and brother with the trio heading out to San Carlo in Manchester. Alan, mum Michelle and brother Ste all dined out on Italian cuisine as the Corrie favourite explained it was a belated Mother's Day treat.
The mum and two sons smiled for the camera as glasses of red wine sat on the table and they waited for their meal. Captioning the snap, Alan wrote: "Family really is everything…" adding a red heart.

He then continued: "Me & my big Bro taking out beautiful mother for a Belated Mothers Day @sancarlorestaurants." And his soap co-stars were soon sharing comments with him.
Former Corrie star Ryan Thomas, who played Jason Grimshaw, said: " Wow big pic," with a string of hearts. Abi Franklin actress Sally Carman wrote: " What a gorgeous picture." Meanwhile, Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Windass in the soap and Alan's one-time on-screen girlfriend, simply added a red heart and a love heart eye emoji to the comments.
Fans were also quick to echo what Alan's pals had to say. @debbie______bee said: "Aww beautiful picture #family." @suehfx47 wrote: "Beautiful family." @derek.gm replied: "Great picture of you all." @raccoa27 added: "Gorgeous pic."
But fans were also distracted by the family picture for various reasons. @yorkshire_lass_81 commented: "You are your mum’s double," and @jolewis1308 said: "You look like mom and brother all got them lovely eyes." @michele.ashton.7 also replied: "All so Alike, peas in a pod."
