Coronation Street viewers felt "queasy" as they thought Gail Platt made an explicit confession in tonight's episode.
The legendary character, played by Helen Worth, returned for the final edition this week of the long-running soap. The episode continued to explore Max Turner's turbulent time as he prepares to be released from the Young Offender's Institute.
David Platt is concerned about Max's release and was consulting with his wife, Shona, about how they were going to support Max's return to the Cobbles. However, he was gobsmacked when Gail entered the room and lauded her new sleep aid.

David's onscreen mum was talking about how she enjoys a much better sleep since she went to bed with a "stimulator". Gail brandished an egg shaped product she was holding in her hand that made David spit out his morning orange juice.
Shona was in hysterics when she worked out what went through David's mind. . Gail made a similar error later in the episode when she was speaking to Nick Tilsley and mentioned her "stimulator".
David entered the Rovers Return at this exact moment and viewers following the show on Twitter were in hysterics as he pleaded "no" before making an immediate exit.
Fans took to the social media platform in stitches after the comedy plot on Friday's episode.
