Many Coronation Street viewers were left feeling the exact same way during the latest trip to the cobbles.
The ITV soap paid a visit to Amy and Tracy Barlow at the home they share with Steve McDonald and Ken Barlow.
The mother and daughter were seen discussing Amy's impending milestone which will lead to a cash boost for the teen.
Amy, played by Elle Mulvaney, is set to turn 18 years old and Tracy was still treating her daughter like a little girl.

Tracy said: "Little girl, soon to be a woman," to which Amy replied: "You make me sound like a Britney Spears song."
But she was soon telling Amy exactly why she should be excited.
"You should be excited for this birthday because this is the one where you inherit 40 grand off grandma Deirdre," she told her daughter.
Leading to Amy firing back: "I forgot you're a capitalist."
The conversation quickly moved on as the pair squabbled about what Amy will put the cash into.
Tracy wants her daughter to put the money towards her first home, while Amy wants it to cover her university fees.
In the end, it lead to an emotional moment when Amy admitted: "I just wish grandma was here to see it."
But Corrie fans were too distracted over the same thing as her upcoming celebration triggered a soap memory.

@DionPetrie commented: "I'm old I remember when Amy was called Patience #Corrie."
"Amy turning 18 means remembering Tracy selling her to Roy and Hayley - wonder if she knows her name was PATIENCE! #Corrie," @VanityPending echoed.
However, that wasn't all as the way Amy referred to her mum sparked more reaction.
@RyanJL74 said: "The way Amy just Tracy, luv'd HER MOTHER. She's a #Corrie icon in the making."
"Some lovely throwbacks tonight: Bet Lynch, Deirdre, and Amy calling her mom 'Tracy Love' #Corrie," @TraylorHolmes tweeted.
@RyanGTweetsTV wrote; "Amy calling Tracey " Tracey love" Good nod to Deidre #Corrie."
Amy was born in 2004 and was sold to Roy and Hayley Cropper after they had been tricked by Tracy into believing that Roy was her biological father.
However, Amy's dad was actually Steve and Tracy revealed the news at his wedding to Karen McDonald.
Patience Cropper was then re-named Amy Barlow.
Elle took over the role of Amy in 2010 from Amber Chadwick.
