Coronation Street fans were in tears when much-loved character Sinead Osbourne, nee Tinker, died in 2019 after battling cervical cancer. In heartbreaking scenes the newlywed and new mum passed away with her husband Daniel by her side.
So fans were delighted to see actress Katie McGlynn, who played Underworld worker Sinead in Coronation Street from 2013, reunited with Rob Mallard who plays widower Daniel Osbourne and Lisa George who plays her auntie Beth Sutherland, nee Tinker.
The trio were all smiles as they enjoyed an Easter drink together. Rochdale star Katie posted a picture of the trio on her Instagram as she wished her followers a happy Easter. "Tinkers on tour," she captioned the snap. "Happy Easter you lovely lot."

Katie, who went brunette for her role as trouble-causer Becky Quentin in the Channel Four soap Hollyoaks, was back to blonde as she rocked a black vest with the slogan 'for the thrills.' And she and Lisa, who recently blew fans away with her powerful singing voice on All Star Musicals, both sported a slick of glam red lipstick for their catch-up.

Katie won hearts as the loveable Sinead and she played a very different character in Hollyoaks as manipulative Becky. Becky arrived in Hollyoaks village as a friend of Diane Hutchinson and her beliefs in conspiracies surrounding 5G and the COVID-19 pandemic sparked concern with Diane's loved-ones.
Diane became worried about her son Henry's health and threatened to call social services if Becky did not take him to hospital. And when Becky was told Henry had meningitis, which had caused profound deafness, she threatened to sue for negligence and returned to trash the hospital pharmacy store room.
The soap also explored sinophobia - anti-Chinese and anti-East Asian racism - when Becky turned aggressive after spotting neighbour Serena Chen-Williams with a parcel received from China and linked it to the COVID-19 pandemic. Taking to Instagram to mark her Hollyoaks exit in February she wrote: "Becky Quentin, over and out! @HollyoaksOfficial.
"It’s been an absolute pleasure playing Becky and getting my teeth into something so different and gritty! As an actor, to be able to portray someone that has so much likeness to extremely current global issues from conspiracy theories to anti-vaxxers, coronavirus and sinophobia… I really hope the storyline has helped raise some important issues and helps people see how easy it is for someone to be sucked into this whole world of fake news and conspiracy!"
She added: "Thank you to the entire cast and crew for being so unbelievably amazing and welcoming me with open arms! I will miss you all, but other exciting opportunities beckon…"
At a theatre press night earlier this year Katie was reunited with Rob, whose character has since found romance with Rovers Return barmaid Daisy Midgeley. "I mean I've missed him a hell of a lot," she wrote with a photo of the pair smiling together side-by-side.
Last year she was partnered on the BBC dance show Strictly Come Dancing with pro dancer Gorka Marquez and they became the second couple to leave the competition. After Sinead's powerful storyline Katie filmed her smear test to encourage other women to have the screening.
She wanted to show how 'quick and easy' it is, telling fans the procedure could potentially save their life. The actress acknowledged that during the COVID-19 pandemic a lot of smears had been cancelled, but she urged people to get in touch with their GP to rebook.
Her trip to have the test was shown on the morning ITV show Lorraine for Cervical Cancer Prevention Week. Sharing the video on her social media she wrote: "Please ladies I know I sound like a broken record but it is SO important to go for your smears when you’re due. Catching it early (a matter of weeks) can potentially save your life!"
In her film Katie, 28, explained: "Cervical screenings are the best way to protect against cervical cancer but many of us are still too shy, too scared and too embarrassed to go for our appointments. Well lucky for you I'm on my way to the hospital to get my smear test to prove to you all that there's nothing to worry about."
All people with a cervix aged 25 to 64 should be invited by letter to the test to help prevent cancer. During the screening appointment, a small sample of cells are taken from the cervix using a soft brush.
Katie's character Sinead, who passed away on the show in October 2019, was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2018 when she was pregnant and temporarily stopped her treatment as she was worried it would harm her unborn child. She discovered that her cancer was terminal on her wedding day in September 2019 after it had spread to her lymph nodes and her liver.
In the soap Sinead was informed she couldn't have had cervical screening because she was told she was too young at 24. Sinead's story prompted calls from viewers to lower the age for cervical screening.
