Coronation Street viewers were left feeling sick after Daisy Midgeley and Daniel Osbourne's reunion on tonight's show.

The school-teacher is currently in a relationship with newcomer Lydia Chambers who intervened to break-up the altercation.

However, Daniel's former romantic interest Daisy was watching on with concern.

The character, played by Charlotte Jordan, confronted Daniel at the end of the episode and admitted she thought he was hiding something.

The two traded insults before they rekindled their romance by sharing a kiss.

Lydia arrived home early which prompted the former lovers to separate, but viewers following the show on Twitter took to the social media platform to comment on the "loud" kissing sound effects used during the reunion.

Julie posted, alongside a "make it stop" gif.: "Oh god why do they have to make that horrible slurping noise when they're snogging the face off each other just stop it Pleeeeeeeease."

Jehan added, alongside a sick emoji: "I was enjoying Daniel having a go at Daisy! Pass me a bucket"

Amanda said: "Why was that kiss so noisy

McWhiskers commented : "What kind of kiss was that with Daniel and daisy, thot someone had let a budgie loose"

Yvonne posted, alongside a picture of two budgies: "Daniel and Daisy sounded like these"
