ITV Britain's Got Talent's Witch act has identity 'uncovered' by Ant and Dec fans

Britain's Got Talent viewers thought they uncovered the identity of who was in the Witch costume.

Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden returned last night to judge another episode of the popular ITV contest. The judges welcomed a new batch of contestants bidding to progress through to the live shows as the search continued for the next star to perform at the prestigious Royal Variety.

Saturday's episode featured an eclectic range of acts such as a choir, a daring acrobatic troupe and a Mexican wrestler. However, the judges were spooked by a Witch act, who handed out apples to the judges on last night's show.

The Witch recited a creepy chant before transforming the apple into maggots and cockroaches. Viewers watching the show on Twitter were thrilled by the performance and many took to the social media platform to share their theory that either Ant or Dec is behind the prosthetics.

Diane said: "The witch was totally Ant Mcpartlin"

Jen posted: "Ya know how ant and Dec Always look like any and Dec in ‘undercover’ even with all that makeup on… and nobody sees it’s them… I’m getting pure Dec vibes off that witch!"

Becca commented : "The witch is deffo Ant @antanddec in disguise!"

Mickey tweeted: "That witch actually looked like Ant (@antanddec ) on an under cover! Haha"

Geebz said: "Is it me or does this look like Ant?"

Britain's Got Talent airs Saturdays at 8pm on ITV and ITV Hub
