ITV Britain's Got Talent's Simon Cowell in awe over St Helens schoolboy

Simon Cowell couldn't contain his praise for St Helens ventriloquist Jamie Leahey.

The 13-year-old schoolboy performed a ventriloquism act with puppet Chuck. His cheeky act saw the judges and the crowd thoroughly entertained before he sang his own cover of Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr's 'Me and My Shadow'.

At the end of Jamie's act, all four judges gave him a standing ovation - and there was no one more impressed than Simon. After receiving four 'yes' votes, Simon remarked to Amanda Holden that Jamie is 'very likeable'. Amanda agreed, saying he had a 'future ahead of him'.
