ITV Britain's Got Talent act puts Simon Cowell in his place in first-look clip

Britain's Got Talent fans will be getting excited as the semi-finals kick off on Bank Holiday Monday (May 29). But the team behind the hit ITV show has given a sneak peek of one of the acts in store on Saturday's final audition round.

And many will be delighted to see that the entertainer firmly puts Simon Cowell in his place. Ant and Dec hosted the audition episodes in London and Manchester looking for acts to impress judges Simon, Bruno Tonioli, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.

This afternoon, BGT took to Instagram to share the link to magic comedy act Kimoon Do. The story is linked to the full four-minute audition clip on YouTube which shows Kimoon Do wowing the judges with a pack of cards.

The magician sets out to find four aces, claiming he has practiced this trick a lot. When Kimoon Do reveals the sleight of hand in this first move, Simon laughs out loud before looking bored, but he soon gets back into the flow.

Kimoon Do then asks Simon to shuffle the cards. Anyone expecting to see a card sharp's skills in the shuffle is set to be disappointed, as he merely slices the deck a couple of times before asking "Can I take any one?"

Kimoon Do soon puts the mega judge in his place telling him "only to shuffle", much to the audience's hilarity. The choice of card then goes to Amanda on Simon's right.

It's a risky strategy for Kimoon Do to make fun of Simon if he's hoping to get through to the semi-finals. However, the 63-year-old does share a few wide smiles and laughs throughout the performance.

We'll have to wait and see if the magician gets waved through to the next stage when BGT screens on Saturday. You can watch the whole of Kimoon Do's hilarious audition here.

Britain's Got Talent is on Saturday, May 27, and weeknights from Monday, May 29 at 8pm
