Hosted by Capital's Roman Kemp, the 90-minute special will see a number of groups of stars go head-to-head in a sing-off in order to impress a Super Panel of judges which includes The Voice UK's will.i.am, Britain’s Got Talent’s Alesha Dixon and Starstruck’s Adam Lambert and Jason Manford. Here's everything you need to know.
When does Britain Get Singing start?
Britain Get Singing airs on Christmas Eve. Viewers can tune into ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday, December 24 at 8:35pm.
The Christmas extravaganza is a whopping 90 minutes long.
Who are the Britain Get Singing judges?
Hosted by Roman Kemp, the Super Panel is made up of Alesha Dixon, Jason Manford, Adam Lambert and will.i.am.
Speaking about the Super Panel, Roman said: "will.i.am is a musical genius and he is someone who is really open-minded. He was well versed in the reasoning of why we’re doing this show and also it’s a bit of fun. A lot of people respect Will and it makes people up their game when they see him. With Alesha, it’s a topic that is close to her heart and she’s got that performance background.
"They’re super judges because they’ve been judges on shows for years and they know what to look for. Adam is someone who has been at the top of his game in terms of performance. With Adam, he’s so outspoken and rightly so, whether that be about the LGBTQ+ community or whether that be on mental health, he’s an advocate for that type of thing and that's what we wanted for this show - people who are willing to embrace it and be open-minded.
"And with Jason too, giving that comedy and light relief but still having an understanding of the power of what this show can potentially do."
