ITV Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway series 18 special guests and new segments

Geordie duo Ant and Dec are back with another series of Saturday Night Takeaway.

It's been a hectic few months for the pair, between filming I'm A Celebrity, game show Limitless Win and the forthcoming series of Britain's Got Talent.

But now they are ready to dive into the 19th season of Saturday Night Takeaway, complete with fan-favourite segments - as well as some shiny new ones.

Classic gags set to return include Ant Vs Dec, On Air Dares, Singalong Live and The End of the Show Show.

But there will also be some exciting new segments, including Kiddi-eoke and Polter Guys, a weekly miniseries that will see Ant and Dec become ghostbusters, reports Birmingham Live.

Speaking to Dermot O'Leary on Friday's (18 February) This Morning, an emotional Dec admitted he 'choked up' realising the audience would be returning in-person.

Last year, due to coronavirus restrictions, the show had a virtual audience instead.

Ant added: "The show is all centred around the audience and the fun that we have and surprises we have for them, so we are very excited to get them back."

Here is everything you need to know about Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway 2022...

When does Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway begin?

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway returns in February, with its first episode going live on Saturday, 19 February from 7pm on ITV.

All episodes will also be available to stream live or on catch-up via the ITV Hub.

Who is appearing on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway 2022?

Stephen Mulhern, Andi Peters and Fleur East will continue to make regular appearances this series.

The full line-up of celebrity guests is yet to be announced, but ITV bosses have given a few teasers of what viewers can expect.

Michael Buble and George Ezra will both take to the stage for the programme's famous End of the Show Show, which sees a famous singer perform while Ant and Dec wreak some sort of havoc in the background.

As usual, each week will see a different celebrity put in charge of introducing each segment, with past celebrity announcers ranging from Romesh Ranganathan to Gordon Ramsay.

The first celebrity announcer of the new series will be RuPaul, with Drag Race UK winners The Vivienne, Lawrence Chaney and Krystal Versace also set to perform.

Elsewhere the new Polter Guys miniseries is set to feature special cameos from celebrities including Jo Brand, Roman Kemp, Tom Allen and Fred Sirieix.

Hugh Jackman, Kylie Minogue and Jennifer Hudson will also appear in the new series.

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway starts on Saturday, February 19 at 7pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
