The feature gives audience members the chance to win £500 if they recognise their home in video footage broadcast on a screen in the studio.

However, the presenters apologised ahead of the segment as viewers watching at home said the doorbell sound effect caused their dogs to "go crazy".

The hosts joked they were going to go ahead with the feature anyway - and fans took to Twitter to say it sparked the same response from their four-legged friends.

Clair said: "Thanks Ant and Dec dogs barking again"

Richard commented: "stop running ring my bell, my dog going crazy!"

Josh tweeted: "My dogs on edge"

Stephen tweeted: "How many dogs are going crazy after 'Ring my Bell'"

Lauren posted: "Whose dogs started barking then?"

KIrk said, alongside a laughing emoji: "Ring my bell back on @antanddec #SaturdayNightTakeaway cheers, dogs gone mad again."
