A travel expert has revealed the five unusual things that could land you in trouble with the law in Italy.
With summer just around the corner, many people will be planning their holidays abroad this year - and Italy is a popular choice on the list.
With beautiful architecture, delicious food and so many things to explore, Rome is one of most popular cities to visit in Europe.
But there are certain rules you must stick to, or you risk being fined or worse, arrested.
The social media user took to their TikTok account to share the five weird things that could get you arrested in the beautiful city of Rome in Italy.
TikTok user @testaccina, who has 7,000 followers on the social media platform, posted the video captioned: "Illegal in Rome: risk a fine or get arrested if you make these mistakes in Rome, Italy."
Dressing up as a gladiator
Dressing up as a gladiator in front of the Colosseum in Rome was made illegal in 2012, to cut down on the amount of scammers trying to fraud tourists out of money, according to the National Geographic.
Testaccina's TikTok wrote: "Dressing as a gladiator and posing for photos is banned under a law to protect tourists from street scams."
Sitting on the Spanish Steps
According to Testaccina: "There are always police guarding the Spanish Steps as it's forbidden to sit on this famous monument."
This checks out, as the historic status of the Steps mean that is prohibited to sit, lay down or loiter on the monument.
Wearing a bikini or swim shorts
Wearing beach wear in the city centre of Rome is banned, as the skimpy attire could land you a decent fine.
The TikToker said: "Beach wear is banned in the city centre and could see you land a hefty fine."
Going shirtless in general is also banned, so you'll need to plan ahead if you are heading to the shops after the beach.
Entering the fountains
While the cool water may seem tempting, it is illegal to jump into any of Rome's famous fountains.
Testaccina said: "Rome's fountains may look inviting in hot weather, but if you jump in them in hot weather, you'll get arrested!"
Drinking on the streets
It is illegal to drink out of a glass on the streets of Rome from 10pm onwards, while from midnight onwards, the ban extends to any outdoor consumption of alcohol, no matter what the container.
Testaccina said: "Finally, it is illegal to drink out of a glass on the streets of Rome after 10pm in the summer!"
