
The prime ministers of Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece will hold a meeting on Friday ahead of the next European Council, the Italian government said in a statement on Tuesday.
Greece's Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, will join via video link. Spain's Pedro Sanchez and Portugal's Antonio Costa will meet Italian Premier Mario Draghi in Rome.
The European Council is scheduled for March 24-25.
