Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd says Philippe Clement's excuses are 'irrelevant'.
It comes after the Ibrox side's shock 1-0 defeat to Queen's Park in the Scottish Cup last Sunday, after which Clement spoke about how his team created several more chances in the match than their opponents.
Despite this, the second-tier outfit progressed to the quarter-finals, and Boyd reckons the manager's post-match words were irrelevant: "It's not been good enough," he said (Sky Sports).
"Philippe Clement can use all the excuses he wants in terms of attempts on goal and opportunities created - it's irrelevant. The be-all and end-all is the result at the end of the day."

Trailing by a considerable number of points in the league and out of the Scottish Cup, one of Rangers' only saving graces this season has been Europe.
They are in the last 16 of the Europa League after achieving an impressive top-eight finish in the competition's initial stage.
Clement's side can face either Fenerbache, Anderlecht, FC Twente or Bodo/Glimt as they aim to make it to the quarter-finals.
Before then, though, they must soldier on in the league, with a trip to face Hearts today followed by a home game against St. Mirren next weekend.
