Former Premier League striker Gabriel Agbonlahor believes Sadio Mane won't sign a new contract at Liverpool unless he 'gets exactly what he feels he deserves.'
The Senegal star has been in world-class form this season, helping the Reds win the FA Cup and Carabao Cup as well as finishing second in the Premier League, one point behind eventual champions Man City. With the UEFA Champions League still to be play for, it could be a very successful season for Mane and his team-mates.
Mane's continued improvement under Jurgen Klopp has seen him linked with a host of clubs across Europe, with Bayern Munich said to be keen on acquiring him once the summer transfer window opens next month. Mane's contract runs out next summer - which has led to speculation Liverpool could look to cash in during 2022.

With talks ongoing between the two sides, there's still every chance the former Southampton star puts pen to paper.
But Agbonlahor believes that unless Mane's new deal makes him one of the highest earners at the club, in the region of Mohamed Salah should he extend his Merseyside stay, then Mane will depart the club.
“I don’t think Mane signs unless he gets exactly what he feels he deserves," he told Football Insider. "If Liverpool doesn’t pay that, I don’t feel he will sign. He knows he will not be short of options.
“He’s been phenomenal this season and since he’s joined Liverpool. I’m sure he will demand what he’s worth. If he sees Salah is getting £300,000-a-week, he’ll want £250,000-a-week and he deserves it. With the numbers he’s getting, it’s huge but he deserves it.
“These players will know what other players in the league are getting and they will make Liverpool pay the same.”
