‘It might be 2025!’ Strictly’s Craig Revel Horwood delays his wedding yet again

Strictly Come Dancing’s Craig Revel Horwood has pushed back his wedding day yet again.

The ballroom show judge, 58, was meant to walk down the aisle with fiance Jonathan Myring in 2022 before postponing the date to 2024.

However, Revel Horwood, who announced his engagement to the gardener-turned-trainee paramedic in 2020, has now said the long-delayed nuptials are not likely to happen anytime soon.

"It might be 2025, which is also my 60th and his 40th, to make it our 100th," he told Daily Mail columnist Richard Eden.

"We’ve booked for 2024 but I can see us pushing it back. We want the reception at home, so the house and gardens need to look gorgeous for the wedding photos."

(l-R) Horwood, alongside fellow judges Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, and Anton Du Beke, has previoulsy blamed Strictly’s schedule for his wedding delay (PA Media)

Revel Horwood previously blamed their new home, which is set to be the wedding venue, not being ready for the first delay.

"It’s a new house that needs a lot doing to it. I thought I would get it done in a year or two but there is no way it is going to be ready," he previously explained to The Mirror.

He also told Best magazine in a past interview that work scheduling added to the date change.

"I was going to have it this year and then Strictly Ballroom with Kevin Clifton came along and then we put the date until 2023 and now I am working again," he explained.

Despite his hefty pay cheques, he also said that he had underestimated how much they would need to save to throw a wedding.

"I have got to pay for it and I did not realise how expensive weddings were. I had no idea," he insisted.

The pair began dating in 2018.
