Rangers assistant manager Issam Charai will step up as interim coach, according to a report from a reliable Belgian journalist.
Sacha Tavolieri claims that Philippe Clement's now former no.2 will take the reigns after the Belgian's sacking.
He only arrived at the club in January on a three-and-a-half-year deal after the departure of Andries Ulderink for family reasons.
Tavolieri suggests Charai will take training tomorrow morning and the Ibrox club will "count" on the experienced Morrocan coach going forward.

Other reports claim that Barry Ferguson is the frontrunner, although he is a columnist for the paper making the claim, while former Southampton manager Russell Martin has also been linked.
Ferguson's managerial career has been limited to unsuccessful roles at Clyde and Alloa while he was a moderate success with Kelty Hearts.
Martin on the other hand has a record of attractive football in the English Championship and spent a portion of the season managing in the Premier League.
Charai joined Rangers from Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, having previously worked in the Belgian Pro League as an assistant manager, and as manager of Morocco’s under-23 team, where he led them to the under-23 African Cup of Nations title.
