An Israeli military spokesperson did not rule out the possibility of a ground operation into Lebanon during a press briefing on Monday. When asked about the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) readiness for a ground invasion and the speed at which they could move in if ordered, it was stated that the army is fully prepared and committed to ensuring the safe return of all citizens to the northern border.
Earlier on Monday, the IDF chief of the General Staff mentioned that the military is actively targeting specific locations and making preparations for upcoming phases, which will be further detailed shortly.
