Israeli Military Offers Amnesty In Exchange For Hostage Release

People attend a protest calling for the immediate release of hostages, in Tel Aviv

The Israeli military has been dropping leaflets in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza, offering free passage to individuals who surrender their weapons and assist in the release of hostages still being held. The leaflets feature a photo of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar purportedly deceased amidst rubble, accompanied by a message accusing him of causing destruction and fleeing in fear.

The leaflets assert that Hamas will no longer govern Gaza and present an opportunity for residents to break free from its oppressive rule. The message extends a promise of safe departure and peaceful living to those who disarm and aid in the return of abductees.
