The Israeli military has reported carrying out a series of extensive strikes on Hezbollah targets in the Beqaa region and various areas of southern Lebanon. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the strikes are ongoing, with the air force targeting Hezbollah infrastructure where weapons were stored, along with numerous launchers aimed at Israeli territory.

Following the sounding of sirens near the Lebanese border, the IDF identified three drones crossing into Israeli territory from Lebanon, some of which were intercepted. Additionally, airstrikes were conducted on Hezbollah weapons storage facilities in Bint Jbeil, a town in southern Lebanon, in response to multiple rockets being fired from the area.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant addressed troops, emphasizing that Hezbollah has undergone significant changes in recent days, having sustained significant blows to its command structure, fighters, and combat capabilities. Gallant indicated that further strikes are prepared and hinted at the possibility of ground operations supplementing the ongoing air campaign.

Gallant cautioned the troops about the persistent threat posed by Hezbollah, noting that despite their weakened state, the organization remains intent on harming Israel. He urged vigilance and readiness among the military forces, emphasizing the seriousness of Hezbollah's intentions to target and inflict harm on Israel.
