The Israeli military has issued a warning to residents in parts of southern Beirut, advising them to evacuate certain neighborhoods due to safety concerns. The warning was communicated through maps distributed on the social media platform X.
The Israel Defense Forces’ Arabic-language spokesperson shared maps pinpointing specific buildings in the Al-Laylaki and Al-Hadath neighborhoods. The message emphasized that these locations are in close proximity to Hezbollah interests.
Residents were instructed to leave the buildings immediately and relocate to a safe distance of at least 500 meters away from the identified structures. The directive was issued for the well-being of the residents and their families.
This evacuation notice follows a series of significant airstrikes carried out by Israel in southern Beirut. An Israeli official revealed that the airstrikes were specifically aimed at targeting Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
