The Israeli government has announced the names of 33 hostages set for release in the first phase of a ceasefire that commenced on Sunday. The list, shared on the Israel X account managed by the foreign ministry, includes individuals taken captive on October 7, 2023, as well as those held since 2014 and 2015.

Among the hostages scheduled for release are Kfir and Ariel Bibas, the youngest captives held by Hamas, aged two and five, respectively. Additionally, the roster features two Israeli-Americans, Sagui Dekel-Chen and Keith Siegel, who are believed to be alive. Notably, Edan Alexander, an Israeli soldier presumed to be alive, is not included in this group. Furthermore, four Israeli-Americans who have been confirmed deceased are not part of the list.
