The Israeli Prime Minister’s office has reported that an Israeli citizen residing in the United Arab Emirates has been missing for two days. The missing individual, identified as Zvi Kogan, who holds Israeli-Moldovan citizenship, was last seen on Thursday afternoon.
Kogan is known to be a representative of Chabad, a religious movement within the Hasidic Jewish community that has a presence in various countries worldwide. The Prime Minister’s office stated that an extensive investigation has been initiated in the UAE following Kogan’s disappearance, with concerns raised that it may be linked to a potential terror incident.
Israeli intelligence and security services are actively involved in the search efforts, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring Kogan’s well-being and safety. The National Security Agency of Israel had previously advised its citizens to refrain from non-essential travel to the UAE.
