Israel's army chief, Herzi Halevi, has issued a warning indicating that the recent strike targeting Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah is not the final action in their strategy. In a video released on Saturday, Halevi emphasized that Israel possesses additional tools and capabilities to address any threats to its citizens.
Halevi stated, 'This is not the end of our toolbox. It should be very clear: there are further tools going forward. And the message is clear: anyone who threatens the citizens of Israel, we will know how to reach them, in the north, in the south, and also farther away.'
He revealed that the strike on Nasrallah had been meticulously planned over an extended period. 'Eventually, after a long period of preparation, of many capabilities for Lebanon, we started implementing them,' Halevi explained. He further noted that the operation was executed at the right moment with precision, and preparations for subsequent actions are underway.
Concluding his statement, Halevi assured that Israel's military is fully prepared across all fronts to address any potential threats effectively.
The Israeli military claimed that Nasrallah, the secretary-general of Hezbollah, was killed in the airstrike conducted in Beirut, Lebanon on Friday. As of now, Hezbollah has not issued any official response to the Israeli military's assertion.
