Following an Israeli airstrike that devastated a building in Beirut's southern district, rescue teams have been tirelessly working to search for survivors amidst the rubble.
Tragically, more than 30 people lost their lives in the attack, and as funerals were held to honor the victims, the hopes of finding those still missing were slowly diminishing.
On a nearby street, families anxiously awaited any news while tears streamed down the faces of those who walked away from the scene. Exhausted ambulance and civil defense workers, their clothes coated in dust, took brief moments to rest as they continued their arduous efforts.
The strike not only leveled one building but also caused damage to several others in the densely populated neighborhood with its narrow streets, further complicating the rescue operation.
