An Israeli airstrike in the Al-Janina neighborhood of Rafah has resulted in a tragic loss of lives, as reported by the woman's father, Akram Al-Khairi. The devastating incident occurred while the family was asleep in their home, with the missile striking their residence.
According to Al-Khairi, his daughter, who was eight months pregnant, along with her two young daughters aged 1 and 2, lost their lives in the airstrike. Fortunately, his son-in-law and 4-year-old granddaughter survived the attack with minor injuries.
Expressing his grief, Al-Khairi emphasized that the victims were innocent individuals who were simply resting in their home at the time of the strike. Tragically, a young man from the neighborhood also lost his life in the same attack.
A video captured by a CNN stringer on the scene shows the bodies of the deceased at Abu Yousuf al-Najjar hospital, surrounded by members of the community. The heart-wrenching footage depicts the father mourning over the bodies of his wife and two young daughters, with a visible bandage covering his eye.
