Israel is set to release 110 Palestinian prisoners on Thursday as part of the Gaza ceasefire and hostage deal. This release is in accordance with the terms of the agreement reached between Israel and Hamas.
As per the deal, the prisoners to be released are categorized based on the status of the hostages they are exchanged for. For each child, civilian woman, or civilian man over the age of 50 who is freed, Israel will release 30 prisoners. In the case of a female soldier, 50 prisoners will be released. Additionally, for each injured or sick hostage, Israel has agreed to release 110 prisoners.

The Hamas Prisoner Media Office has indicated that among the 110 prisoners expected to be released on Thursday, there will be a diverse group including 30 children, 32 prisoners serving life sentences, and 48 prisoners with high sentences.
This move is a significant development in the ongoing efforts to maintain the ceasefire and address the issue of hostages. It reflects a step towards building trust and fostering dialogue between the parties involved in the conflict.
