This declaration comes amidst efforts by Egyptian, Qatari, and American officials to convene in Doha to revive negotiations for a Gaza truce.
According to US and Egyptian officials, these meetings are a response to US President Joe Biden's recent proposal, which outlines a three-phase plan. This plan, described as an Israeli initiative, involves linking the release of hostages with a 'full and complete ceasefire' in Gaza.
