Following the recovery of the bodies of six hostages in Gaza by Israel's military, the total number of captives in the enclave now stands at 101, with 35 believed to have lost their lives, as reported by the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.

Out of the total captives, 97 individuals were taken hostage during the attack on Israel that occurred on October 7.
